I opened up a Planet Fitness account, which was a one year contract.
Planet Fitness later extended my account for another 2 years (without my permission) after the salesman told me I was only signing a 1 year contract.

So I refused t pay the account, out of principle. They later handed my account over to Saya Recoveries.
Saya hounded me for payment regularly, until I got so fed up I decided to pay them.
After speaking to Miriam Banda at Saya, She ensured me that if I made 2 payments of just over R1500 and sent them a cancellation letter my account would be settled. I paid the amounts and she confirmed she had received them after I emailed her to question her about it.

Now it's 2 months later and I'm still getting phone calls and text messages. My credit rating is still damaged and nothing has been done to rectify this.

I'm absolutely disgusted with both companies, as they clearly have absolutely no idea how to administrate their accounts and the customer unfortunately has to pay the price.
