Debit on wrong date

I'm extremely mad at Virgin Active and fail to understand that since my Debit order failed in the 1 October why did they feel to debit my account on the 15th of October after I received a call on the 4 October from Natasha and made an arrangement to Double debit my account, on the 1st November 2013 and that I will have access to the club but and such has not happened. So I would like to know the R138.00 for the unpaid debit on my account.
