Upon cancelling my Virgin Active National membership in September 2012, I was given the opportunity to enjoy 3 free months membership from Oct - Dec. I was assured that my contract would be cancelled thereafter unless I notified Virgin Active otherwise. For the last 6 months I have been paying a membership fee despite cancellation and have had no response from Old Eds on this matter. My bank is unable to stop the debit order without permission from the merchant and as a result I am paying for a service I am no longer utilising.
This is very disappointing!
