I received a bottled water from a Sales Consultant at Planet Fitness Plattekloof last night (Mon 13/5/2013) with the instruction, ' Bring this voucher to your nearest club and get 2 weeks free access and vouchers to the value of R1350.' printed on it.
Upon visiting the club today to redeem 2 weeks free access AND my vouchers to the value of R1350 as promised, I was told the access IS the voucher. No disclaimer, terms and conditions appeared on the bottled water. The Sales consultant and a senior member of the sales team today (Tue 14/5/2013) both admitted the instruction was given, and that it is misleading, and it was done to 'generate more leads for the consultant' but that there can be nothing done to rectify the situation. Will these people stop at nothing to make their daily targets, where are their business ethics?
