BAD RETURN POLICY

I bought a freezer and surge plug at House and home parow centre.
After bringing back the plug twice as it did not work, I was told that they need to create a new contract and I have to sign again and a whole new credit application needs to be done!!!
I'm furious about this because this account has already been settled. Why do I have to go through a credit process again...
