I recently wanted to return a damaged black trouser to Truworths Menlyn. I was so discussed by the attitude I received from the manager Lizelle vd Venter. I was honest to tell them about the damaged on the pants the tags was still attached I never worn the pants and didn't iron the pants, but Lizelle insisted that I was a and that I was returning an item that I damaged. I insisted that I would take a polygraph test to proof that I am not lying but she said that she is not interested in what I was trying to proof and that she spoke to her manager Colin Tanner and he approved of her decision. She also did not apologise and was very patronizing when I got upset. I do understand that there are policies at Truworhts to protect the store but the employees should be trained not to be sarcastic and rude to customers.
