URGENT COMPLAINT - please refer to reference ST-Q42H-01. I am a club member and on the 25/03/2013 I requested assistance for a plumber to change my shower hot water tap. I live in the South Coast and was refferred to Ace Plumbers. Charles from Ace Plumbers asked me for R170 for material and did not give me a receipt. I chased him over telephone for 2 weeks about coming back to repair my shower (any my receipt) and I was eventually sworn at - his number has been switched off ever since. I called edgars 4 times in the last month, only to get excuses upon excuses as to why my call wasn't escalated. The call centre agent said that no-one even call the plumber to attempt investigating my problem. I have never received a call from any team leader and have spent my own money calling edgars continuously. My patience has run out after my 4th call last Friday - I waited all day for a supervisor to call me in vain. It has been more than a month, several phone calls and R170 later my tap is not fixed, I haven't even been reffered to another plumber. Not a single call back from edgars - it is an understatement to say that I am furious and unhappy with the way my query has been handled by Edgars
