On Tuesday 15 January I received a PnP brochure together with our local GAZETTE Newspaper in Robertson advertising PnP's THE BIG PRICE DROP, telling customers what specials are currently available "at all PnP supermarkets, family stores and hypers in the Western Cape only" from 8-20 January. Today is 16 January. I went in good faith to the Robertson PnP to buy the OMO LIQUID and the 2KG WHISKAS advertised on the back page. There isn't a sign of either product on the shelves. What's the point of advertising a special in an area when their shop/s are out of stock and there is also no indication on the shelves that the item is out-of-stock and has been re-ordered?
