My daughter ordered me a hamper online for my birthday as she is overseas. Delivery was supposed to be yesterday in Pietermaritzburg before 1pm. (As I live in Bergville, I had to make special arrangement to be in Pietermaritzburg between 10am and Ipm) When delivered, they only delivered the cake and not the rest of the hamper, I immediately phoned call centre, after 20 minutes on hold I was told that the hamper comes from 2 different departments and the rest should be on its way but she would get back to me to confirm where the driver was. She NEVER got back to me. I phoned a second time and AGAIN my call was not returned.
My daughter went into the account this morning and apparently whatever was ordered for me was out of stock and they would get back to her in 24hours!!!
This is unacceptable as the order is paid for and why did no-one inform her or me of the situation. This is highly unprofessional from Woolworths and I am highly disappointed!!!
Thank you for letting us BOTH down as I was excited to receive my birthday present and she was excited to send it to me. Awesome job, not keen to shop at Woolies if this is your attitude!
