I purchased books on Monday the 22 of April before 12:00. I expected my books to be delivered the next day as per the statement on the website. However later in the day at 16:00, I recived an email that my books were still on hold waiting verification from my bank. When I called my bank I was told there has been no enquiry on my account from Kalahari. I was later told by a Kalahari call centre consultatnt that since I am using my credit card for the first time on the website some details need to be confirmed with my bank before my order can be released. This was however not initially communicated with me until I enquired about my order. I was then told that depending on when this so -called verification process, that my bank was not aware of, takes place that will determine when I receive my books.
I feel that this should have been communicated from the begining of the transaction as it was clear then that I am using my credit card for the first time on the site. Instead of just giving a blanket statement that the order will be delivered the next day if the order is placed before 12:00. I have been on the phone the whole day trying to find out who is responsible for the delay.
