Pease help, I'm in desperate need (lay-bye)

I want to start by saying that I'm fully aware that I also took my time resolving this matter. End of 2011 and beginning of last year I lay-byed a few items from this shop and therefore paid an amount close to R 2 000 for the items. At the time I did the lay-bye I had a job, I then went to the store and told them that I had left my job to further my studies and I was no longer going to reside in Johannesburg that I was relocating to Port Elizabeth and needed to take some of the items which were equivalent to the money that I had paid to them and they refused. Paula who was the store manager at that time told me that it was impossible for that to happen hence the things I had lay-byed were not under the same account because I had 3 different lay-byes made at different intervals. She then advised me that she would keep my things for me I must just do the payments. I thought that I could but soon realised that I couldn't I then sent my partner in March last year and he was told the same thing I was told and I then sent my aunt to resolve it same story too. I want to know what happens to my money as I never received a call from them telling me about what happened to my lay-bye.
