I had purchased 2 items on 21st January and had arranged to collect these items a few days later.
I called the store at 10am to inform the Salesman that I will be collecting my items just after 12 that day. I arrived at the store after 1pm only to find that the items I had purchased was still on the shop floor and had now been damaged. I had already paid for the items to be collected so I advised the salesman that I would take the items but should receive a discount on the purchase price. When I enquired why the items had not been packed on the day of purchase, I was told that a number of the staff were off sick. I then assisted the salesman to pack and load these items onto my vehicle as there were none of the furniture city staff available to help. A few days later I was contacted to say that I will receive a R200 discout on my purchase and as soon as all the paperwork in this regard was sorted out I would be informed to collect my money. On the 8th of February I received a call advising me that the store did not have cash and that when they received cash from another customer, they will refund me.
More to the story... but STILL UNRESOLVED???
