The price for an item of clothing was incorrectly displayed (for the whole rack). My daughter went to pay for the item believing it was R69.99, but the barcode displayed a price of R119.99. I then got hold of the manager, John, who firstly said that some people change prices around. I told him that is not our problem, he could clearly see that the price was incorrectly displayed. He said we must just go and queue up again (we had just stood in the queue for more than 30 mins to pay) and we could get a refund. When I objected to standing in the queue, he took my daughter to the front with him and said he would give the money back, but she could not take the item of clothing for R69.99! She wanted the jersey at the price displayed, but he would not accept that. His whole attitude was very unprofessional and the error was on behalf of the store, not the customer, yet she had to sacrafice the item of clothing.
