I have generally avoided shopping at Game in recent times due to poor customer service levels from their sales personnel. From last week Thursday, I have been trying to buy a camera from two branches which did not have stock and on Friday decided to try at The Glen branch. The first sales person I asked about the camera, dismissively told me that he doesn't know if they have it and that is where Themba came in. He went and checked if they have stock, came back after five minutes to tell me he is still checking and will be with me shortly. True to his word, he came back and said they didn't have it at this branch but at two other branches. He called the one branch, patiently, while being given the run around by his colleagues from the the other branch, to procure the camera for me. While still on the phone, he was busy assisting another customer with his purchase.
He made sure that when I got to the other branch, I knew who to contact to make the purchase and thankfully I managed to get the camera. Not only have I encountered such exceptional service but if half of Game staff had such a great attitude, their stores would be world class. I take my hat off to you Themba, thank you.
