Customer Care Dept? No - Customer's, We Don't Care

I bought a Springbok Leg roast at beginning March to cook a delicious Easter Sunday lunch. The venison, sell by date 5th March, was brought home and immediately placed in the freezer. On the Friday it was taken out of the freezer and placed into the fridge to de-frost slowly. On Sunday morning the vacuum-packed roast was taken out of the fridge and eeeeuugh! it smelt as if something had died in the packet!
We returned the meat to the CUSTOMER (we don't) CARE Department and spoke to the manager, Nur Van Schalkwyk. He was most UNhelpful! I asked him if it was reasonable to expect the meat to be OK if frozen fo
