On the 27th of December 2012, i purchase a pair of jeans trousers from Markham at canal walk. The jeans trousers were retailing at a reduced price of R 599.99, from R 999.99 .I must indicate that the reason why i purchased the item was that in my mind, i was getting a better and more expensive garment at a cheaper price. My decision to purchase was motivated by the very distinct style of the item. Unfortunately, 2 months later, the loops started to break causing holes to appear on the garment. I then took the item back to the store where i spoke to Roshan, a helpful lady working in the store. She took the time to phone around in order to locate my docket. Roshan also explained to me the fact that the style i am looking for had been sent to Vredenburg for clearance purposes.
Shereen, the assistant manager on duty was called in to process the exchange. The very disinterested, rather more worried about taking a smoke break did not take the time to listen to my query, and did not help as i had to leave the store with my broken Jeans trousers. I virtually had to ask her for her name in the mall so i could lodge my complaint. I would please like to get the matter sorted out.
