Hi-Fi Corporation
Hi-Fi Corp makes us pay for a FALSE service

On Sunday 24 March I purchased an external hard drive online. I have paid R60 for a delivery service of 1-2 days. I only received the package on 27 March (3 working days later).

Yesterday (2 April) I purchased a washing machine online. I'm just wondering if ANYONE would pay nearly R500 for a urgent next day delivery if they knew they had to wait 7 days for stock?! This is the email I got from Hi-Fi Corp today (3 April).

If products are out of stock a customer should have the option to cancel the purchase or choose a different product which indeed is in stock. It is unethical to take my money with the promise of next day delivery and then just inform me (via email, not even telephonically!) that I will have to wait as long as what FREE delivery would have taken.

If I pay Hi-Fi Corp (not the courier) directly for NEXT DAY delivery and Hi-Fi Corp is UNABLE to deliver what I HAVE PAID FOR, should I keep quiet and accept this the way I did with the 1st purchase? To my mind this is called ; taking payment for a non-existent service.

What's more is that I am unable to reach ANYONE who can assist me. I keep reaching the "so-called help line's" voicemail.

TRULY DISAPPOINTED!
