On 1 April I saw a silver chain in the sale window. It was displayed on a bust with the price directly in front if it was R 1999 now R999. When i wanted to buy it the shop assistant said no it cost R 2499. I told her that ito the CPA they are obliged to give it to me for the advertised price. The shop assistants then tried to push sales tags around to pretend it was not the chains tag. I told her to phone a higher authority who also refused to adhere to CPA. Even a complaint to head office produced no results-Gail. Where is integrity with this retailer? They also said staff said it could have been the price of another item, when clearly there was no way it could have been.
