Always no stock and staff incompetence

At Game - Northgate on Saturday morning - hoping to buy a Garmin. Took quite a while before being able to find a sales assistant, then once we had one - we were told we could just pay for the item at the cigarette counter and he will fetch it. Pmt done, & then the waiting began. 15 minutes later I had to go find him on the floor to see what had happened to my purchase only to see him hastily trying to pack the display unit into the box. I asked him if thats what he was giving me and this is when he says yes cos there's no stock. I told him that I didn't want this unit and would like him to check other stores. He took my stuff and was walking from counter to counter for about another 30 minutes until I eventually asked for my money back. Cresta had 2 items but I was being told to go to Fourways. I did not have the time to drive all around Joburg after already wasting 90 mins. Why did Jacob not tell me up front that there was no stock and then on top of it very sneakily try to pack a display unit without asking me if i would accept it first. On top of it all, I had to take a refund voucher cos an elec refund will only clear four days later. I will never shop there again.
