I usually write compliments to Game online, however, I write this in much disappointment in the Game store I visited last week.
I was in the hopes of purchasing a new laptop, however the sales assistant was extremely off-putting and did not answer any of my questions/concerns regarding this new investment. He was more concerned that I did not to somehow connect to the internet (??) and insisted that I did not type on the laptop, despite me wanting to buy the laptop solely for this purpose (journalism).
He seemed impatient and disinterested in my needs for a laptop, and I left the store without having gained any insights to the laptops Game was selling. Game has lost a sale as a result, and I am highly disappointed as there were Comp items on promotion which appeared like a good deal.
I will rather shop online for my laptop, as there is more assitance online, and apparently better prices on technology (as I am now discovering). With applications like PriceCheck, it is becoming apparent that Games prices are not always the best/ most competitive, and so I do hope they improve their poor customer service.
