Credit Charged and told it was reversed

My children were playing sport in Edenvale last weekend and we had a break between games and decided to use the Vitality Totalsports Adidas benefit and get a few items while we out that way, at Greenstone TotalSports.

They rang the goods up and I was then told the system is offline and the transaction never went through despite an SMS from the bank advising me otherwise. When I queried I was told it definitely did not go through despite my insistence that it clearly had. So I left the store down R1000 and with not sports kit.

I poned a few days later to query as the amount reflected on the account. When I eventually got hold of someone the proposed solution was to come into the store to resolve, which is not an option. There next suggestion was to deliver the goods, which while a practical solution was kind of a little late, seeing as had already bought the shoes elsewhere and as there was no paperwork how does one remember what model of shoes one bought.

At no point was a reversal of the transaction offered, unless I came into the store. The solution, I now have to get Discovery to reverse the transaction at a R75 cost to me. I am so not impressed with TotalSports.
