Bad service and product quality from DionWired

I bought a laptop on 2012-08-28 of R13 500 and a Wenger laptop bag of R640 from DionWired Kolonade. After 3 mnths the one strap snapped while I picked up the bag and my laptop fell and was damaged. I reported this to DionWired Kolonade, the floor manager inspected the bag and agreed that the bag was not stitched to standard and that my laptop will be replaced by the bag manufacturer, or all their products will be removed from DionWired stores. I was offered a new bag by another manufacturer and I was informed to hand in my laptop on 15th Jan after the bag manufacturer reopens. After 6 weeks and many phone calls from me and a lot of excuses from DionWired and the bag manufacturer I was informed that they will not take responsibily of what happened and will only pay repair costs of R2200. Both companies claimed that the bag was handled incorrectly by me and after 2 months are now denying a factory fault on the stitching of the straps. The label of this bag has no warning and no instructions on how to correctly pick up the bag so that the straps dont snap after 3 months of use. I spent alot of money for good service and quality, but so far I received none of that from DionWired.
