In May 2012, I posted the story below --- After no contact from Woolworths and 7 court appearances, the jugement is INNOCENT. What chance is there that we will ever support this group again?
"So my dear wife is a 52 year old rather "polished" lady. She just loves shopping at Woolies. We live in a pretty decent area of Kloof and are well entrenched in the community. Some time ago dearest found some childrens shoes in her shopping bag (compliments of my sweet daughter) and could not find the charge on the slip. Next day she was off to her shop to pay (nothing to brag about, just doing the right ting). The manager gave her a big box of chochaletes on the house! Wow, now she was sold on Woolies. And so it continued for the last 14 years then, she decided to investigate he new Woolies in Hillcrest.
A stroll around the shop resulted in the selection of two frozen veg packets and some fresh fruit. Then the clothing department - ok, I would love to fit this one and.. perhaps that one and... during this leisurely stroll her eye caugt some garments at the entrance and she took a stroll over to look and see. Oi.. two steps outside the shop, a security guard lady grabbed her - jailed!
