We went to Game Clearwater to buy suitcases on Saturday the 9th March and were disgusted at the lack of customer service we experienced on two occassions. The first was when I went to the information counter to ask for a price check on the small suitcase. The three woman having a chat there looked up at me like i was disturbing their tea party. When i asked if they could help the one sitting down waved me over and put her hand out for the case. No, "Good morning sir, how may i help you" like it says on Game staff name tags.
The second suitcase was priced at R599 on the shelf but when it came to pay i noticed that we were charged R699. This really upset Nomusa Shangase's day because she walked over the the cashier and spoke to her without even greeting me. I took her to the shelf and then asked what Games policy was when an item was marked incorrectly. She said you'll get a R100 off. What she meant was R100 off the incorrectly charged amount. I queried this at the till and her response was, "the price you see is the price you pay." Not, "I'm terribly sorry that we would have charged you more than the advertised price and appreciate that you noticed it. Please accept our apology"
