Disappointing Service - Price wrong - Beware

I was assisted with a salesman at Dion Wired this afternoon and selected some earphones for R80 from the shelf. As I handed my credit card to cashier, I realise that the cashier mentioned the amount due was R160 and not R80. I went back to the shelf and confirmed that the advertised price on the shelf was R80, The salesman and another store assistant also came to check and noticed that the goods were hanged under the wrong shelf label. I refused to pay R160 for the item and mentioned to the salesman that if I bought some other goods as well, I most likely would not have noticed the price difference and how many unsuspected customers are cheated in this way.
Well not even an apology from the staff member for the mistake and the inconvenience. If this happens at a competitor like Pick n Pay or Game, they most likely would have honoured the price on the shelf or at least offered a discount.

My son and I actually considered to purchase the Lenovo Tablet we saw at this branch, but now we will rather take our business elsewhere.

Be careful when you purchase something at this branch, check the bar-code and the shelf labels. Even if it is a small item
