I bought a lounge suite on the 25Th of may from house and home in witbank and it had torn at the back were the leather goes round the corner to the back. We went in in december to report the defect and were told the factory is closed but can fill in all the paperwork so long and they will contact us when the factory opens again, this never happened as I had to contact them. The arrangements were made and the couch was never picked. Other arrangements were made and it was finally picked up. Again we were told that we would be contacted with a progress report. This took another 2-3 weeks to get that. I have been waiting nearly 2months for any kind of feedback, I have now insisted that the couch be replaced as it cannot take 2months to repair a tear of 5-10cm. I am HIGHLY upset with the service from the floor and admin staff as the manager has been trying his up most to help with no support. I have been along term customer but WILL not be purchasing any type of product from house and home again.
