I went to Guess Clearwater on SUnday, 13/01/2013 to return / possibly exchange an ill fitting pair of leggings. To my surprise the Manager on duty did not know how to perform a refund on my RCS account.
He gave me two very unacceptable excuses that they: 1) only know how to refund if a client is using a "GUESS" store card and 2) that he would give me cash but they didn't have R600.00 in the till that they could refund me with. It was after lunch and I struggle to believe that they did not have R600 in their till point and a manager with a team of two others does not know how to perform a simple refund transaction. And then he went on to say, I didn't even buy the pants from their outlet and then I said so what because both stores are Guess stores. He took my contacts and said he would call me if they received any cash purchases. I was at the mall for two hours while waiting for my car to be washed and I am still waiting for the call.
I am really dissapointed and appalled at the young man's behaviour as I do enjoy the brand and am a regular customer. If this is what our customer service level is coming down to I will speak out about it until it is rectified.
