Double Money back quality guarantee??

I bought an 18 pack pick n pay brand eggs from Randridge Pick n Pay when I did my monthly shop last week. Today I find that the eggs are rotten, sell by date the 8th (tomorrow) best by date the 11th. I was just going to throw it away like the last time but then decided why? On the packaging I notice double your money back quality guarntee so I thought well why not... Why must I just fork out more money again. So I went to rock cottage pick n pay as I was running errands there anyway and the manager referred me to the supervisor who said ok you can go replace it, the manager comes up and asks me where we bought it? So I explaained and he siad well they. Must have old stock he will phone them. At the checkout they refund R25 and when I ask about the double your money back promise I get told thenb don't do it anymore so I ask why is on the packaging then? They call the manager and he tells me they don't stock that size (18) eggs they were doing me a favour as they are a franchise store and they are doing me a favour by giving me. The R25 refund. I must take it back to the store where I bought it then to claim my "promise" from pick n pay? Its not the money its the principle!!!
