We went to Edgars to purchase some perfume. One of the sales consultants then told us that if we buy another R200 worth of products, we get R200 discount. We spent 20 minutes trying to find something, but then didn't get the discount when it was ringed up at the till. Only after we wasted our time we were told that you have to be an Edgars club card holder to get the discount. They also sell underwear with a lable 'buy three for the price of one'. No where it states that this applies to Edgars card holders only. For consumers who forget to check their receipt they will be charged full price.
When I asked the cashier what they are going to do make it more visible, they were very rude and promptly ignored me.
