My girlfriend and I purchased some furniture in October of 2012., In November of 2012 we experienced a break in and One off the items was a Samsung flatscreen tv.
We have have the insurance wich came with the purchase and promptly conatted Furncity in Boksburg were we bought the furniture from. They processed the claim and notified us that there would be a few days delay on delivery of our new Tv as there was no stock. 4 months of absolute pathetic service later we still have not received our TV and get sent from pillar to post. Even after my girlfriend also complaint on hallo peter and was conatcted by Furncity and promised that the issue would be resolved in a few days. Yet another month has passed and nothing. The staff at Boksburg is unhelpfull and even make derogative remarks in xhosa When I went there to enquire. I dont believe the out ofstock story anymore as they still advertise similar packages and I dont believe anyone will wait 4 months for a TV.Furniture city promptly replied on 20 Feb that it will be resolved, the same repeat message they send to all, Still absolutely nothing.
