This is now the third time within one month that advertised specials are not in stock and cannot be supplied. Firstly, we were looking a an advertised flat screen that was not available. When asking for an alternative item, we were informed that nothing with the advertised specifications was available. Last week, we tried to purchase a hard drive on special. Again, the advertised item was not in stock, but we found an alternative item for R100.00 more. When we came to pay for this, the till scanned it as R400 more than advertised on the shelf. Only after about half an hour of arguing with whoever was apparently in charge, did we manage to leave the store with the hard drive for R100 more than advertised. Now this morning, we were lured into the store again with an advertised cellphone special that includes a laptop. No surprise: the laptop is not in stock and cannot be supplied. Once again, we inquired about an alternative item, but were informed that this special was only available with that specific laptop.
This is the poorest excuse of getting customers into store and can easily be marked as misleading advertising. Very bad service indeed!!
