Offensive, very bad customer service!

I enquired about purchasing a Kindle for my wife's birthday. They advertise they are official "Amazon Kindle Distributors ", so having dealt many times with amazon before, I thought that was the level of service one could expect. How wrong I was.

I assured that there was more than enough stock to ensure that I could pick one up in 2 days as I was driving through Paarl. No mention of having to prepay or sending me a proforma invoice. When I enquired a day later to confirm the address etc, they told me that they sold all their Kindles and that I have to wait when they get stock again! Imagine my disappointment as this was what she wanted for her birthday and there was no time left to try and get it somewhere else.

Upon contacting Pieter, he was very rude and offensive, and said he can't help it if other customers get in ahead of me and buy all the Kindle's, never mind the promise he made me. They also take 2 days to get back on emails. Just overall very bad customer service, or complete lack of service! DONT do business with these guys, as if something goes wrong with your Kindle, how are they going to treat their customers then!

Definitely not how Amazon does it.
