We went to pick `n pay (BP garage) and purchased pieces of chicken on Friday, the 15th of February.
When we were busy enjoying our lunch, we found that the chicken was raw inside, I'm talking blood and all.
When we took the chicken back to show them, we were advise that because we didn't have the slips, they cannot refund us, but we can take chicken of that same value again or anything in the store, the lady that assisted us said that and we told her that we do not want anything, we just wanted our refund as we didn't trust if all the other food was well cooked (cooked to perfection) not raw., and failed to that, said it is Pick `n Pay's rules not to refund people without till slips.
Would like the manager of the store to get in contact with us as we also work in Green point, we want a compensation for our time wasted going back and forth to the store, energy, and the embarrassment suffered when we told we couldn't be helped by the store as we didn't have receipts.
We need this sorted out as a matter of urgency, as school children also purchase food from the same store, is this what they're eating, it's not on?
