Pick 'n Pay
I Expected to be Ignored

PnP Hypermarket by the Sea, turned a big negative into a positive yesterday. Firstly they had organised another car show in the south part of their car park. There are only three blocks of flats in Durban North and they all look down onto the south end of their car park. The problem the last time was the music that was played from 10:00 until 16:00, the manager kept asking the promotions people to turn it down but this only lasted 10 minutes before the music once again became intrusive.

This time around, I reported the matter to Ruth on the customer care line and she immediately got Suren Manor, the manager on duty to phone me. He got them to turn it down but, as before, this only lasted for a short while. I spoke to Ruth again and she really listened to me and assured me that she took the situation seriously. She said she would speak to Suren again and did so.

At 12:30 I had decided that this time it would be the same as last time and so I went out on my bicycle, returning at 15:45. I immediately noticed that the music had stopped and that Ruth had phoned me. She phoned me again at 16:00 to check if everything was OK. Many thanks PnP for caring enough to turn off the music.
