Today my husband and I were shopping at Fairbridge branch. Customer in front of us is obviously a trader buying only the heyday specials in big quantities. The cashier tells him that certain items are limted to 3 per customer, he insists that he has different variants of one item and the cashier calls the supervisor. The supervisor allows the items to be rung up. He then takes out 40 jars of beetroot and the cashier again says she cannot allow it to go through, supervisor approves the sale. First of all this makes me so angry because in the week we were told to put items back because of limited quantities!!! Surely what applies to one customer applies to all. Your pamphlets also stipulate that no traders!!! Any person can see that this man is a trader. No one buys 40 jars of beetroot or 20 boxes of the same spice etc.!!! Come on Checkers we are all feeling the inflation on our pockets - be fair and allow everyone to be treated the same! I am now sorry I didn't perform at the till when I was requested to put items back!!! then maybe I could also have got more savings!!! I hate unfairness...
