No pricing and bad attitude

After yet another mess-up with wrong/incomplete/incorrect/missing pricing at Checkers Brooklyn our cashier called her supervisor, Mabel, who very rudely explained that the item which my girlfriend and I wanted to purchase was not marked down and that is why it was rung up for R100 instead of R10.

We explained that it was with all the other identical items marked R10 on the sale table. She was unhelpful and we had to go back ourselves to fetch another item containing the correct sticker. We then also mentioned to her that half the items on the sale table have not been priced and also half the items in the cheese section. To this Mabel did not even respond, she just looked at us as if we are crazy.

This was the third time that I got to do with Mabel and the third time that she was rude to me. It is time that your staff learn to be apologetic on behalf of your store!!

About two/three years ago the Brooklyn Checkers branch was managed by a tall gentleman (Richard I think?) and it was such a joy shopping there. Everything was always clean, all items were priced (and priced correctly!) and the service was always friendly & efficient. These days it is a complete joke shopping there!
