On Saturday 16.02.2013, I went into the Retail Park branch and purchased a Samsung 40" television that was on special for R5999.99. The Saleman that assited my pruchase was Preston Reddy.
Once i paid for the tv and took it home, I then noticed that there was a sticker on the box, that says "SIX FULL HD GLASSES AND 3 BLU - RAY TITLES INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE OF THIS TV". By the timei noticed that, the store was already closed & hence I could only go back to the store on Sunday.
When I got to the store on Sunday, I spoke to Preston about this and he said the movies and the glasses should be in the box. I explained to him that there are only 2 pairs of glasses in the box and we are here to collect the other 6. Another salesman interuppted the conversation and said that was for another promotion which is now over. Preston suggested we bring the tv back and he will give us another tv in the "new" box which does not have thr promo sticker. What is the point of this? We questioned when the promotion ended & was told in November sometime but the sticker has no start or end date. The conversation ended with the salesmen walking away from us, as to say this debate is over. Disgusting
