Please can you assist?
My daughter (Tamsin Arnould) purchased a second hand vehicle from Durban South Toyota last year. The vehicle is now due for the last free standard service (45000km) and after leaving her vehicle at Suzuki in Richards Bay, they called her to advise her that the service plan on her vehicle had been cancelled and that she now has to pay. (see attached document from Suzuki)
Upon calling Durban South Toyota, they advised that the vehicle was sold to her without the standard service plan (this is always included and is free up until and including the 45000km service). The sales person also advised that she had told this to her father who went from Amanzimtoti to preview the vehicle before I drove her from Richards Bay to collect it.
Nowhere was this excluded/altered on the contract and signed for (clause 6.3-see attached).
I was present at the sale and we were not made aware of this. The sales person says that she had informed her father.
Please can you assist in resolving this matter?
