Friday the 4th of January I was trapped with my 1 year old for over 30mins in one of the elevator.
There is NO ALARM or EMERGENCY contact number anywhere in the lift which I am certain is in direct contradiction to health & safety regulations.
Fortunately for me there was cell phone signal & I manage to get hold of Dischem who raised the alarm. Believe me staying calm for over 30 minutes & keeping a 1 year old content in a tiny space was No easy task & rather traumatic! When I finally emerged from the lift there was ONE lonesome technician, NO member of the management team to be found I had to hunt down the office. Where I received an apology, acknowledgement that it is extremely bad & that was it. I had to request that my parking at least be validated, which it was. I returned to the center a week later & was completely SHOCKED to see that NOTHING has changed. The lift is still operational with NO emergency contact number or button. This shows a total lack of concern for the safety & well being of your patrons. VISITORS BEWARE!
