On Sunday 13/01/2013, my mom who is 72 years old and has a heart condition and my 16 year old son who has severe asthma, where going to do some shopping at Mall @ Reds. As the esculator was not working (once again) they took the elevator. The elevator stopped on the required floor (or so they thought) and stopped working. My son pushed the alarm and the intercom only to find that none of them where working. He tried to find a spot in the elevator to get cell phone signal and called us for help. We ran around the centre trying to find management ONLY to find out that they do not work on a weekend AT ALL. We then phoned the emergency number on the elevator which was not in working order either. None of the security guards had a CLUE as what to do. My husband tried in vain to pry the doors open. When the security heard my husband phoning the police and fire brigade, the security all of a sudden had a after hours managers telephone number for us. The person in question (Martin) was ever so laid back and did not seem concerned at all. He said he would TRY get hold of a technician. Luckily after 45 minutes of been trapped in this elevator the doors just opened by themselves.
