On Sunday the 10th of February 2013, I went to checkers store in Lakeside Mall in Benoni, I went to buy 12 bottles of 2 litter coke, I went to buy because it was on promotion, and they never specify the maximum quantity you are allowed to buy in the promotion. On my way to the teller for payment I was stop by KELFILWE MATSIDIDI the fresh Manger, she said that I don't suppose to buy more that 6 bottles of 2 litter coke, which contravene PART E SECTION 30 of the CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT (BAIT MARKETING). I was trying to explain to this lady but she kept on telling me that CHECKERS law supersede the consumer protection act, that she got the right to limit the quantity I am buying. Checkers behaviour towards me (their customers) does not respect the law, according KELFILWE they have right to neglect or overrule the law and treat their customer in any way they think best in order to improve their profitability in place of customer satisfaction.
