Unwilling to help/ lack of knowledge

I went to buy a bed and first the guy called David, after doing everything and what was left was to print the contract, then the guy forgot his log in password and told me he will call me the next day when he has retrived his password. he then called to to say that he needs a proof of address for where the bed will be delivered as I asked for it to be delivered in Middelburg. i asked why does he need proof of address for the bed will be delivered as he already had my home address, the bed needed to be delivered in Middelburg as my Husband has just started working that side and found a new place. I chose dial a bed as I had taken two beds previously at Maponya Mall in Soweto and the beds were delivered in Kempton Park and no proof of address for the delivery place was needed.
I fail to understand why he needed proof of address as the address was correct and I was going to pay for it.
this David guy is so rude and just told me that without what he needs he will just delete the whole thing and anywhere else I go they will tell me the same thing he is telling me.
