I believe I speak for a lot of people in our small town when I say that there is a terrible smell around the fridges where the meat is kept. When Pick n Pay first opened here, i did not buy from any other shop at all, but for the past few months the smell and hygiene around the meat area is so terrible, I try my best not to do my shopping there any more. Sometimes it looks like water lying on the floor in front of the fridges, and although the cleaners try to mop it up with strong chemicals from time to time, the smell is still there. Sorry, but how can you even think of buying or eating meat that smells that bad?
