I have never been this embarrased all my life. i went to truworths east rand mall with my head over my neck, when i got out i had a tail in betwwen my legs. i wasn't helped because i misplaced a receipt after making a purchase of over R1800. i was asked after making this payment then i managed to lose my receipt. i had to describe the clothes that i bought at first i considered it to be a joke, until the lady went to the back and came with a pile of receipts and asked me to tell her which till i made purchase from, i had to try and stand to see where i was standing from, after all that i was told no purchase was made of that amount on that day. what i want truworths to do is to prove that i made the payment then i want to be refunded my money back, i can't support people who view me as a potential after spending all my hard earned money on them. stores like edgars and woolies they have cash cards that help in situations like these, but truworths enforces rules with no back up. i didn't and i want that to be proven if it means taking the matter to the consumer protection i will gladly do so, what i can not tolerate is to be made to feel as if im someone that i am not.
