On the 29th of January 2013, my Mother, Mrs AS Venter, made a purchase of over R1000.00 from Tops Liquer Department (10 Cases of Beer). Mr Pierre Basson was overseeing the back of the store and one cashier was at the till helping my Mom. The cashier asked the shop helper to get the stock from the back and load it into my Moms bakkie that was parked in front of the store`s door. Mr Bassosn started yelling at the cashier (the till slip states that her name is Linda) because she asked for help in loading my Moms purchases. My Mom has a heart condition, she asked Mr Basson to tone it down as he is upsetting her (she was the only customer in the store at the time), he promptly ignored her and continued shouting. My Mom exited the store with Mr Basson behind her, as he continued to light his cigarette in the door, my Mom said to him that he is extremely rude and has no people skills when it comes to his customers or his staff, on which he shouted at her that this is his store and his staff and he will shout as much as he wants to.
