When collecting medication over the counter at Clicks, the chemists insist on wrapping each separate purchase in a plastic bag with a sticker. The extra plastic bag does nothing more than waste plastic, causing further environmental damage and the sticker prevents the bag from being easily recyclable. Ontop of this they refuse to listen when asked to leave the plastic bag out, due to it being their policy.
I have stopped supporting Clicks purely because of this. I would like to see more South African companies taking the environment into consideration. Click's ignorance on this topic will hopefully cause the brand future damage unless they do something about it.
