My mother went to American Swiss in Welkom, she queried if a specific ring could be special ordered in a specific size as a wedding ring, they said yes it can, after waiting /- 2 weeks my mother collected the ring from the Welkom branch. a day after recieving the ring, my wife realized that there was a stone missing and there was a black line in the bottom middle of the circumfrence of the ring and there was no coding on the ring. we informed the Welkom branch of the defect and they advised us to take the ring to the Canal Walk branch as they were the main branch for American Swiss in the Western Cape. we then travelled from Gordon's Bay to Century City in Milnerton to get the ring replaced or repaired. we were informed by the assistant Fatima that the ring can be repaired but the stone will fall out again as that specific ring cannot be made 4 sizes smaller. we were also informed that we could have gone to our nearest branch which is Somerset Mall. my wife now has to take a completely different ring then to the one I placed on her hand on our wedding day.
