For my birthday in December my friend bought me a top from Truworths. No she did NOT ask for a gift receipt but mentioned to me if I don't like it I can go exchange it. Not to be the unappreciative friend I looked at the top & thought it's cool and told her that I like it. Days later I fitted the top & I really didn't like the fit or the lace on the top I am not a lace fan. It dos still have the tag on but since it is a gift the price was cut off. I went to Truworths Cresta and after standing in a long queue (always the case cos they so slow) I eventually got to the till & explained y story that I would like to EXCHANGE it I didn't want a refund just exchange so they STILL MAKE THE PROFIT but I was told to phone my friend & ask whether she bought it cash or on account!!! Since when do you ask someone who give U a gift whether they bought it on cash or account? I didn't want my friend to know that I am exchanging the gift. Now I am sitting with a top I will never wear but more so I am an account holder with Truworths & once paid up I will cancel & mark my words I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANY OF MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS GIFTS FROM TRUWORTHS & ADVISE YOU TO DO THE SAME!!!
