Lewis stores's collection method is very wrong and illegal, my cousin Mantoa Emily Poqa Id no: 8802260389086 has an account which in default with Lewis. They sent their a Mr Riaan Lubbe to serve a Letter of Demand and collect the instalment on the on the outstanding debt, this guy is very rude and violates the law. He wants to change the law so that it suits him and doesn't do the proper way. He was supposed to have left us that Letter of Demand and after I told him that there were some irregularities with the letter he then said he will not leave the letter as he must be clever on this. What we would like to know is if Mr Riaan Lubbe is registered with the Debt Collectors Council & if not why is he doing collections on behalf of Lewis Stores. Why did he not leave us that Letter of Demand. We know that the account is in default but want to raise our concerns regarding unfair customer treatment we received at the hands of Lewis Stores.
