Hi

I had been to the edgars centurion mall on the 31.01.2013 bought items that totalled R269.93. The amount was taken off my bank account on the 2.02.2013 as i used a cheque card. i however noticed on my bank statement an amount of R888 had been debited by edgars on the same day. I went into the store on Monday to query the transaction and i was assisted by somewhat unhelpfull cashiers who insisted i go to the bank to query it an that there was no way that their system could pick up because they dont no who the cashier was, the actual date of the transaction and the till number.
Then they carry on gossiping about me in their language whilst i stand there. I called the manager, Thabitha who promised to call me back but nothing yet.
I also complained to her about her staff but al she could say was we are all different and treat customers differently!!!
Is it so complicatedto recall a transaction and provide me with a signed slip as proof that i had purchased something.
